About Victoria Falls

Peak water flow: February–May (most dramatic views). Devil's Pool & rafting: August–January (low water). Avoid the heat? June–August is cool and dry, perfect for activities.
Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) is 20 minutes from town. Direct flights from Johannesburg (1h40m), Cape Town, Addis Ababa, and Nairobi. You can also fly into Livingstone (Zambia side) and cross the border — the walk over the bridge is an experience in itself.

What the locals know
Visit between February and May for peak water flow — the spray is so thick you'll need a raincoat!
Devil's Pool is only accessible when water levels are low (roughly August to January). Book weeks in advance.
